A family who survived the Las Vegas massacre spoke highly of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, calling the Trumps real human beings who are sympathetic and caring.

Steve Melanson was at the concert with his daughters Stephanie and Paige along with their mother Rose-Marie, who was shot and is currently recovering.

“They’re real people. He’s a real human. She’s a real human,” Stephanie praised the Trumps on CNN’s “New Day” Friday.”They had a heart. They were caring. They were sympathetic. They had a listening ear. He sends his condolences.”

Melania ran over to hug the daughter and reassured her that her mother would pull through.

“Before he [Trump] could finish talking, she [Melania] got up and just b-lined over to us, and just hugged me and told me: Your mom is strong. She’s a fighter. She’ll be okay. She’s going to make it,” Stephanie said.

Stephanie began to tear up before calling her mother a “warrior.”
