Paul Ryan Booed During Trump Rally, But Kanye West Was Cheered!

Trump Kanye

President-elect Donald J. Trump traveled to West Allis, Wisconsin Tuesday night as part of his “Thank You” rally to honor the millions of Americans across the country that voted for him.

During his speech, Trump was joined on stage by Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, but during the speech people noticed something very odd.

Prior to flying to Wisconsin, Trump met with rapper Kanye West, a man who Trump has known for years, and the president-elect felt it important to mention their meeting during his speech last night.

Well, the crowd booed Wisconsin native Speaker Ryan but vocally cheered for rapper Kanye West when Trump mentioned both men, which caught many people by surprise.

From Breitbart:

“Speaker Paul Ryan I’ve really come…oh no, I’ve come to appreciate him,” Trump said over the crowd booing when he mentioned Ryan, who attended the event.”He has been, I’ll tell you he has been terrific. Honestly, he’s like a fine wine. Every day goes by, I get to appreciate his genius more and more, but now if he ever goes against me, I’m not going to say that.”

“We’re going to work on taxes, we’re going to work on Obamacare…oh, we’re going to work on the wall, Paul,” Trump added, and the crowd cheered.

Although Ryan was booed in his home state, the crowed cheered for Kanye West, who met with Trump at Trump Tower on Tuesday.

After Kanye and Trump met in Trump Tower, the rapper said he wanted to meet with the president-elect so he could get a picture. It should come as no surprise to many of you that Speaker Ryan was booed last night given that he was a harsh critic of Trump during the election, refusing to campaign or appear on the stump with the president-elect.

Would you have booed Speaker Ryan if you were at that event? What do you think of Trump meeting with Kanye West? Share your thoughts below!
