Trump Jr. Fires Back at Hillary Clinton Over Russian Collusion Claims

Two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is doing her best to cling onto relevancy – through her Twitter account. While she’ll never share a debate stage with The Donald ever again, social media warfare is the next best thing, apparently. In responding to a new article where President Donald Trump accused Hillary of engaging in a “conspiracy with Russia to affect the 2016 election,” Hillary fired back “Seriously, you asked Russia to hack me on national television.

She didn’t manage to provoke a response from President Donald Trump with her latest attempt at trolling (yet), but she did provoke one from Trump Jr. – and he knocked her in to next year.

The comment Hillary was referring too was one from the campaign trail, in which Trump said “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing [from Hilary’s private email server].”

Trump Jr. – who has an amazing Twitter account in his own right – fired back in defense of his father, pointing out that his statement was indeed correct.

While Trump Jr. is correct that Hillary’s campaign funded Fusion GPS, which in turn created the bogus anti-Trump dossier with the help of former British spy Christopher Steele, the $12 million figure is unconfirmed. Barack Obama’s fundraising arm Obama for America paid over $972,000 to Perkins Coie, which in turn funneled that money to Fusion GPS. The Clinton campaign paid over $5.1 million to Perkins Coie, while the Democratic National Committee paid $5.4 million. Trump Jr. is likely combining all those numbers to arrive as the “$12 million” figure, though it didn’t all wind up in Fusion’s pockets.

Interestingly enough, Fusion has some Russian connections of their own. Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Russian lawyer who had the infamous meeting with Donald Jr. in Trump Tower, was working for Fusion GPS at the time of the meeting. The day of, and day after the Trump Tower meeting, Veselnitskaya met with Fusion’s co-founder Glenn Simpson (who is now refusing to testify before Congress again). That reeks of a setup to me. After all, what could they possibly have discussed, if not her meeting with Trump Jr.?

There was no real Russian collusion – just an attempt at manufacturing an illusion of collusion.

And seriously, check out Donald Trump Jr.’s social media accounts. They’re terrific.
