Trump To Comey: He ‘Had Not Been Involved With Hookers’

In preparation for his testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee, former FBI director James Comey released a statement Wednesday, referencing a phone call in which President Donald Trump brought up Russian hookers.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, rumors circulated claiming that Russian intelligence agents caught Trump engaging in perverted sexual acts with prostitutes during a business trip to Moscow. In Comey’s statement, Trump reassured Comey that he not only had nothing to do with Russia as president, but he also had not compromised his integrity with Russian hookers.

“He said he had nothing to do with Russia, had not been involved with hookers in Russia, and had always assumed he was being recorded when in Russia,” Comey said regarding a March phone call with Trump.

During the same phone call Trump described the Russia investigation into his ethics as a “cloud,” later asking what they could do to “lift the cloud.” Comey reassured him that the Bureau was investigating the matter as quickly as they could.
