Nazi War Criminal Deported to Germany Under Trump Administration

Let the Trump-Hitler comparisons please come to a blessed end.

There’s a curious trend among Democrats that when Republicans presidents are in power, they’re likened to Adolf Hitler, the Third Reich, and Nazism in general. Democrats did it with George W. Bush, and they’ve done it countless times with President Trump. And, of course, that misplaced critique extends to supporters of the President as well. But as boy-who-cried-wolf Democrats scream “HITLER!” at Trump, it looks like the Trump Administration is actually doing what its predecessor didn’t: deporting actual Nazi war criminals from our shores.

The Administration announced that Jakiw Palij, a 95-year-old Nazi collaborator and who is the last of his kind living in the U.S., was arrested at his home in Queens, New York, and promptly deported to Germany.

The White House released the following statement on the deportation:

Here’s the most important part of the statement: “Despite a court ordering his deportation in 2004, past administrations were unsuccessful in removing Palij.”

Let’s consider that carefully: Palij was ordered to be deported nearly 15 years ago. Both Bush and Obama failed at carrying out this court order. Trump got it done. Funny how that works, eh?

Good Morning America had video coverage as well:

This is becoming all too typical. Trump defies the simplistic stereotype liberals paint him with by actually enforcing the law. This time, it’s the trite analogy that Trump is imposing Nazi order on the United States.

The next person who alludes to Trump being Hitler should instantly be stripped of all intellectual credibility. But, given that most liberal media commentators have no credibility, to begin with, I don’t have much hope they’ll adjust their narrative.
