President Trump’s Washington D.C. Hotel Posts $2 Million Profit

Remember when Hillary Clinton called President Trump a failed businessman? Well, now that she’s unemployed, I bet she’s eating those words, especially in light of this news.

While Donald Trump was running for president, he was also hard at work building the Trump International Hotel in Washington D.C., located on Pennsylvania Avenue.

If the hotel was a fiscal disaster, the liberal media would make no hesitation to report on it, but because it’s a success, don’t expect to hear anything positive about it.

Anyone who wants to see the hotel can take a virtual tour by watching the video below – and it’s absolutely gorgeous.

While even Trump’s projections showed that the hotel wasn’t expected to be profitable their first four months of the year, the hotel is already shattering expectations.

The Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. was projected to lose $2.1 million in the first four months of 2017 but has instead brought in $1.97 million.

The hotel, which opened last fall, has been working to make a name for itself in downtown Washington and the $4.1 million improvement over original projections proves it is succeeding.

Guests in 2017 have paid a nightly average of $652.98 to stay in the hotel, making the Trump hotel one of the most expensive in the city, with rates poised significantly higher than its competitors.

Guests at the hotel have spent $8.2 million on food and drinks alone so far this year.

H/T The Hill

Trump has promised to give the U.S. Treasury any profits that come from foreign governments through the hotel.

This success story just shows how great Trump’s business acumen is. I’m so glad we have a businessman in the White House instead of another lawyer or “community organizer.”
