An incredible new painting, produced by world-renowned artist Jon McNaughton, has triggered liberals on social media for daring to compare President Trump to George Washington.
The piece, titled ‘Crossing the Swamp,’ is a replica of the famous painting of ‘Washington Crossing the Delaware,’ which commemorates General George Washington crossing the Delaware River with the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War.
Only, in McNaughton’s version, Washington has been replaced by Trump, the Continental Army consists of administration officials, and the crew is crossing the swamp known as Washington D.C. rather than a mighty river.
“Today, Trump endeavors to cross the ‘swamp’ of Washington DC as he carries the light of truth, hope, and prosperity,” the artist captioned his work.
“The murky water of the deep state is laced with dangerous vermin, perfectly willing to destroy American prosperity for their personal ideologies and financial gain,” he added.
“The establishment Democrats, Never-Trumper-Republicans, Deep State, and Fake News Media will do all they can to stop the majority of the American people from succeeding.”

Wouldn’t you know it – liberals found the painting to be offensive and sought a cry closet to express their feelings.
Actually, they just took to Twitter, where they’re able to pretend to be warriors instead of easily triggered snowflakes.

The left is simply bitter that, despite having to navigate a swamp filled with anti-Trump vermin, the President has an epic slate of accomplishments.
Accomplishments such as a completely reshaped Supreme Court, record slashing of government regulations, historic unemployment levels, a thorough demolition of ISIS, and gutting Barack Obama’s precious legacy.
McNaughton has a penchant for triggering liberals with many of his patriotic, pro-Trump, anti-Obama paintings.
Previous work includes paintings of Trump rescuing the tattered American flag from NFL protesters, of Trump teaching a socialist how to fish, and another of Obama burning the Constitution.
