President Donald Trump has called out Fox News in the past for reporting polls that were not in his favor, but on Thursday he dug in even deeper, tweeting that the network is “doing nothing to help Republicans” and himself get reelected in November.
The president has increasingly attacked the network, especially after host Neil Cavuto criticized him on Monday for saying he was taking hydroxychloroquine as a prophylactic measure against the coronavirus. Earlier this week, President Trump complained, “Fox News is no longer the same,” because “you have more anti-Trump people, by far than ever before.” On Thursday, President Trump listed Cavuto along with other Fox News hosts and contributors as “garbage” and added that the network used to be “great.”
Cavuto drew a great deal of attention days ago after calling out the president for announcing that he’s taking hydroxychloroquine, a drug not yet officially approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a treatment for COVID-19. The FDA has warned those using it to make sure they have been prescribed the medication by a physician, or that they are taking it as part of a clinical trial in which they can be monitored by physicians and other health officials.
Trump tweeted out his frustration before he left to tour a Ford manufacturing plant in Michigan. “Many will disagree, but Fox News is doing nothing to help Republicans, and me, get reelected on November 3rd. Sure, there are some truly GREAT people on Fox, but you also have some real ‘garbage’ littered all over the network, people like Dummy Juan Williams, Schumerite Chris Hahn, Richard Goodstein, Donna Brazile, Niel Cavuto [sic], and many others. They repeat the worst of the Democrat speaking points, and lies. All of the good is totally nullified, and more. Net Result = BAD! CNN & MSDNC are all in for the Do Nothing Democrats! Fox WAS Great,” he tweeted.
The president’s relationship with the network has been rocky in recent months, and he has previously tweeted that viewers are “angry” at the network. “The people who are watching @FoxNews, in record numbers (thank you President Trump), are angry. They want an alternative now. So do I!” Trump tweeted on April 26.
President Trump has made comments on and off Twitter in recent years, chronicling his opinion of the trajectory of Fox News content, stating he felt that the network was being fed “Democrat talking points” since the onetime head of the network, Roger Ailes, resigned in 2016. “We miss the great Roger Ailes,” the president once wrote on Twitter. Ailes, who died in 2017, had advised Trump on debate preparation during the 2016 election.

Watch what you report..Fox News has a bunch of hosts that are staunch Trump supporters. Cavuto and Wallace are the two guys that have been offensive towards Trump recently but they hardly speak for all of Fox News!
A MAJOR LANDSLIDE WOULD HELP!!WAKE-UP AMERICA!!
FOX should know where their market is, and it's among Republicans and conservatives, which have made FOX the preeminent news channel on cable. If they are abandoning that audience to go more "woke" (damn, I hate that stupid word, and what it stands for), or more left, then the ratings (which mean profit) will drop, and, hopefully, demand will create an alternative, which will cater to those MASSIVE viewers. Money is going to be made, and FOX will be history, or greatly diminished. Maybe then their CEO on down will be fired...
#ArmyForTRUMP WE THE PEOPLE demand THUMB FINGERPRINT PLACED ON THE BALLOT
Cavuto just sucks but not as bad as Juan Williams!
I was aware of Neil Cavuto's change when it happened. Just prior to the election, Neil criticized, then candidate, Trump for saying what he would do w/the economy. Neil, like Obama, didn't think it was possible. Needless to say, Trump didn't "lay down" to Neil's comments. He hurt Neil's feelings (just like Chris Wallace). Being a people watcher/body language person for many years, I saw the look on Neil's face when it occurred and thought, if he can't handle what he dishes out he will become a anti-Trumper. He couldn't handle it. He was wrong, but not man enough to suck it up. Maybe too much ego.
Niel Cavuto is the only one... all the rest are totally major Trump fans......
Hello.... Cavuto hates Trump dummy.
Disney doesn't own Fox News.
The fox channel needs to get rid of traitor Paul Ryan to start with just like Romney a snake in the grass
