Donald Trump issued a statement slamming President Biden over his “weakness and lack of support” for Israel following terror attacks by Hamas, and called far-left ‘Squad’ member Rep. Ilhan Omar “anti-American” for supporting Palestinian terrorist groups.
Hamas on Tuesday vowed to turn Israel into “a hell” after rockets fired from Gaza killed three Israeli women. The rockets were launched from suspected Hamas strongholds.
Tel Aviv, Israel’s second-largest city, also came under fire, along with numerous other cities.
“When I was in office we were known as the Peace Presidency,” Trump wrote, “because Israel’s adversaries knew that the United States stood strongly with Israel and there would be swift retribution if Israel was attacked.”
“Under Biden, the world is getting more violent and more unstable because Biden’s weakness and lack of support for Israel is leading to new attacks on our allies.”
“More than 70 rockets in less than 30 minutes.”
Al Jazeera’s Nida Ibrahim, reporting from the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, said Hamas’ armed wing fired their “largest barrage” yet from the enclave towards Israel.

Trump Hammers ‘Anti-American’ Ilhan Omar
Trump also took aim at Democrats for continuing to stand behind people like Omar (D-MN) who condemn Israel but say nothing about the terrorist groups who attack civilians.
The barrage of rockets and airstrikes yesterday evening was preceded by clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces at Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem this past weekend.
The New York Post reported that “Defense Forces respond to Palestinian militants showering hundreds of rockets over Israeli cities, including Jerusalem.”
The Israeli Defense Forces, or IDF, claim to have killed at least 16 militants.

Omar attacked Israel for defending itself, accusing them of terrorism.
“Israeli airstrikes killing civilians in Gaza is an act of terrorism. Palestinians deserve protection,” she tweeted.
“Unlike Israel, missile defense programs, such as Iron Dome, don’t exist to protect Palestinian civilians,” Omar added. “It’s unconscionable to not condemn these attacks on the week of Eid.”
Firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene also lit into the the far-left group of Democrat congresswomen Omar belongs to, dubbing them the “Jihad Squad.”

Trump Says Biden’s Weakness Has Led To Turbulence
Donald Trump explained that Ilhan Omar’s words and actions make her “crazed” and “anti-American.”
“America must always stand with Israel and make clear that the Palestinians must end the violence, terror, and rocket attacks, and make clear that the U.S. will always strongly support Israel’s right to defend itself,” he said.
“Unbelievably, Democrats also continue to stand by crazed anti-American Rep. Ilhan Omar, and others, who savagely attack Israel while they are under terrorist assault.”

Prior to leaving office in December, Trump announced a peace deal involving Israel. It was his fourth such negotiated agreement in the region, efforts which led to multiple Nobel Peace Prize nominations.
Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament who nominated Trump, said the former President played a “key role in facilitating contact between conflicting parties and … creating new dynamics in other protracted conflicts.”
Biden, meanwhile, has yet to condemn the attacks on Israel.

“Hamas terrorists have resumed attacks on Israel, this time launching rockets at Tel Aviv,” Rep, Lee Zeldin (R-NY) tweeted.
“President Biden needs to condemn these attacks on Israel in the strongest terms and unequivocally support Israel’s right to defend itself against acts of terror.”
Instead, Fox News accused the administration of “playing both sides.”
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said plans to evict dozens of Palestinians from an east Jerusalem neighborhood work “against” the allies’ mutual interests and condemned “extremism that has inflicted violence on both communities.”
“The president’s support for Israel’s security, for its legitimate right to defend itself and its people is fundamental and will never waver,” Psaki told reporters.
