Top Democrats Reject Liz Warren, Refuse to Accept Her as Their Leader

Now that Hillary Clinton’s political career seems to be over, Democrats want to replace her with someone who can speak for their misguided causes.

Democrats’ loss in 2016 was so humiliating, they are looking for a change to recover after a once-in-a-generation crushing defeat.

Many political observers thought the obvious choice was Elizabeth Warren, the far-left Senator from Massachusetts. She has been considered the lead candidate to face President Donald J. Trump in the 2020 election.

But now, Democrat leaders are going out of their way to distance themselves from Warren. Clearly, they think she’s too extreme even for them!

As Townhall reports:

Even Democrats know she’s a bit uncanny and are rejecting the idea that she is the leader of their party.

But Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.) said that the notion that Warren is the face of the Democratic Party is “ridiculous, especially when you look at voting records and where we’ve been.”

“They need a boogeyman, and they’re trying to turn Elizabeth into a boogeyman,” she said. “And I think maybe what they should worry about more is actually doing America’s work.”

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (NY) agreed and told Politico that the GOP’s attempt to boost Warren’s presence in the party is “not going to work.”

Why have Democrats turned on Warren? Maybe Warren, like Clinton, is so deeply disliked by millions of voters that they want to take another route.

Warren is as terrible as Clinton in many ways, but she’s a worse politician because she is so beholden to a strict, far-left ideology. She has already alienated so many areas of America that she is already unelectable, and is facing trouble in her own re-eleection campaign.
