Fox News political commenter Tomi Lahren was verbally assaulted by a liberal mob while visiting a Minneapolis restaurant with her mother. (RELATED: Keith Olbermann Roasted After Attacking Tomi Lahren’s “Flag Costume”).
We only know about the incident because it was recorded by a number of people praising those accosting Tomi.
In one video uploaded to Twitter, a drink is thrown at Tomi. In another (showing what happened next) a woman is seen verbally berating Tomi, which the uploader captioned “Whoever the guy is that cussed her out, I hope you’re having an amazing day.” You can hear the person being cheered on in the background. “F*** that b****. F*** this h**. Racist ass b****. Why you even out here? Get this b**** out of here. F*** that b****.” Tomi was confronting the woman after throwing a drink at her.
The Twitter user that uploaded that altercation has since “protected” their account so that the public can’t view their tweets, and it’s unclear why. Both videos of the altercation mentioned can be viewed on YouTube below (language warning):
The story spread like wildfire on Twitter, which Tomi addressed on “Fox and Friends” this morning. “This was something that was embarrassing for me and embarrassing for my family. At the end of the day, I’m a person too. And I do get humiliated and embarrassed just like anyone else,” Lahren said. “But I’m tough, my family’s tough. We can handle it” she said. “It’s really disheartening. But again, I’m tough, I can handle it.”
I appreciate the words of support- even from those who normally dislike me. Free speech is a gift- no need to resort to that kind of attack. I’ll discuss the restaurant incident on @foxandfriends tomorrow morning.

President Donald Trump tweeted out his support following the segment:

And interestingly enough, a number of liberals have come to her defense, including alleged-comedian Kathy Griffin.
I couldn’t disagree more with @TomiLahren, but I don’t think it’s cool to resort to physical actions to make your point.

Well, it’s great to see that even Donald Trump and Kathy Griffin can come together on an issue.
