Three very scary instances of violence targeted at Republicans have been spotlighted Tuesday afternoon.
We’ve seen leftists emboldened by lawmakers supporting riots against political opponents, and the success reaped by paid activists who intimidated Senator Jeff Flake into surrendering his support for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
So what the hell is going on here?
Packages Containing Ricin Sent to Defense Secretary James Mattis
The Pentagon intercepted two packages containing the deadly substance Ricin, initial tests during the mail screening process have indicated. According to reports, the packages were addressed to Secretary of Defense James Mattis and Chief of Naval Operations Admiral John Richardson.

All mail in the Pentagon has officially been placed under quarantine while the two suspicious envelopes were undergoing additional screening.
Suspicious White Powder Mailed to Cruz Campaign, Two People Taken to Hospital
Hazmat had to be called into the official campaign office for Senator Ted Cruz when a suspicious white powder was discovered in an envelope.

The Houston Fire Department announced that two people “were taken to the hospital after apparently being exposed to a white powdery substance.”
Cruz was the victim of left-wing violence last week when a mob of angry protesters at a D.C. restaurant accosted he and his wife, shouting down the senator and eventually forcing the couple to flee the establishment.
Rep. Andy Harris Assaulted By Protesters
A Huffington Post reporter claimed that Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD) “just had his office door pushed through and was assaulted by demonstrators,” as per a Capitol police officer.
One officer reported that there were no injuries, but that Harris had attempted to hold his office door closed while protesters pushed back on it.
The protesters were also reportedly smoking marijuana on the premises, killing brain cells they can ill afford to lose.

Fox News is reporting that one of the protesters, who were there to support the legalization of marijuana, fell and was taken to the hospital.
A senior Capitol Hill source also indicated that “a tussle ensued near the doorway of Harris’s office, and at some point, Harris’s hand was jammed.”
