This General Has Some Harsh Words For ‘Sad Leader’ Obama!

While ISIS terrorists slaughtered innocent people in Brussels earlier this week, the rest of the world had an opportunity to see the very definition of the weak, feckless leadership in charge of stopping them – President Obama.

Obama spent a grand total of 51 seconds addressing the attack before launching into a victory speech with his communist Cuba friends. He was then seen relaxing with Cuban President Raul Castro at a baseball game, doing the wave and generally having a fantastic time.

Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who served as the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, commander of the Joint Functional Component Command for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, and chair of the Military Intelligence Board, is understandably a bit pissed off at the President’s reaction.

“I think it’s a pretty sad day for U.S. leadership,” he said.

Bear in mind that Flynn was actually nominated by the President for his role as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2012, so he’s hardly a hard-line critic.

The fact that President Obama spent just 51 seconds addressing the Brussels terror attacks before heading off to attend a baseball game in Havana escaped few yesterday.

Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn (Ret.) joined Fox and Friends’ Brian Kilmeade this morning to react.

“I think it’s a pretty sad day for U.S. leadership,” said Flynn. “I think while President Obama wants to bury the Cold War from Havana, Cuba, we’re in the middle of a very, very hot war.”

In the last six months alone, there have been at least 75 ISIS-inspired or directed attacks outside of Iraq and Syria, said the former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency.

Flynn added that Obama’s perception of reality doesn’t exactly jive with the reality that is ISIS’ war against western civilization.

“We are watching an Islamic state that is unfolding their campaign plan in front of our eyes,” Flynn said in disgust, “and we see the president doing waves down at a baseball stadium in Havana.”

“Come on,” he exclaimed, “Let’s get real with what we’re facing.”

Reality has never been a strong suit for President Obama. Check out this short clip of Obama declaring that ISIS had been contained just hours before the deadly attacks on Paris.

Here we are several months later, and ISIS is no more contained than they ever were. But at least the President got to see a good game.

Comment: Do you agree with Gen. Flynn that it’s high time Obama accepted reality and actually did something about ISIS? Share your thoughts below.
