This Car Was Robbed, and the Note Left by the Thief Will Shock You!

The Kit Kat burglar has struck on a college campus!

Back in the day you could leave your car unlocked and go about your entire day knowing your car was going to be OK, but not in today’s times, especially if you have a Kit Kat candy bar inside.

It seems a passerby was so hungry, when he saw the Kit Kat alone in the car with nobody around, he decided he would see if he could save said candy bar. He found the doors were open and took the unattended chocolate bar to a more deserving place of safety. The thief then couldn’t live with themselves, so they wrote a personal apology note on a napkin for the driver.

I find it strange, funny, and weird, but this was a crime so don’t throw that aside.

From Fox News:

Give me a break!

A college student’s car was targeted by a thief with a sweet tooth on the campus of Kansas State University.

The student, Hunter Jobbins, said he left his car door unlocked for a few minutes, and when he came back, he noticed the following note scrawled on a napkin.

“Saw Kit Kat in your cup holder. I love Kit Kats so I checked your door, and it was unlocked. Did not take anything other than the Kit-Kat. I am sorry and hungry,” the thief wrote.

Jobbins shared the note on Twitter and it has gone viral in the last few days.

Jobbins told Metro there was no hard feelings.

“When I came across it at first, I was kinda upset and wondering what happened to my Kit Kat. Then I realized how funny it was that it happened so my frustration turned into laughter,” he said.

The Kit Kat burglar taught the college kid a lesson: lock your car. Luckily it was a $1 candy bar and not a wallet or laptop. It’s best to keep valuables out of sight. Kit Kat responded with a tweet to the college student that they would replace the Kit Kat.

Hopefully, the driver locks their door from now on and the thief will turn his life around. It’s a crime, but this was funny too.

What do you think of the Kit Kat burglar and the way they apologized? Share your opinions below in the comment section and let us know what you would have done if anything.
