President Joe Biden made his first visit to the border Sunday, but it was little more than thinly-veiled Kabuki theater as reports indicate illegal immigrant camps were cleared out in El Paso, Texas ahead of his visit.
Adding to the perception of a highly choreographed event, CNN reports that Biden “did not appear to see or meet with migrants, including during a trip to a migrant respite center.”
Multiple outlets reported that El Paso had cleared out the ‘migrant’ camps before the President’s arrival, creating a Potemkin village presumably so he wouldn’t have to witness them, and the media wouldn’t have to report on Biden witnessing them.
The New York Post had a photographer on site who witnessed officials “tearing down migrant encampments under cover of darkness and dispatching hundreds of migrants across the border to Mexico.”
If that last is even a little true, the theatrical nature of the border is worse than anyone could have imagined.

Illegal Immigrants Camps Cleared Out in El Paso Just For Biden
First off, where is the outrage from the media and the crocodile teary-eyed Squad over these reports that El Paso cleared out illegal immigrant camps just to create a clean look for the President?
Can you imagine the unmitigated rage if Donald Trump had traveled to a border city and had the streets cleared and ‘migrants’ shipped off to Mexico just for a photo-op?
As a comparison, recall the reaction the leftist media had when then-President Trump walked through Lafayette Square. The incident was compared to 1930s Germany or actions akin to the Kremlin.
But Biden clears out those pesky illegal aliens before arriving and nobody bats an eyelash?
The Post reports that roughly 200 people had been sent back to Mexico by Saturday, 24 hours before Biden’s visit. Now we know authorities are capable of deporting illegal aliens without trouble. The program should be expanded to every city and state across the border.

Border Patrol Agents Respond
Border patrol agents and local volunteers were reportedly dismayed at the clearing out of illegal immigrants in El Paso, as well as the timing of President Biden’s ‘visit’ to the border.
“It’s a dog and pony show,” one volunteer in the area told the Daily Mail. “They’ve cleaned it all up for him.”
“He may get a view of the border but not of the crisis,” the outlet reports, noting that border agents “wanted him to see the scale of the chaos last month.”
Why? Because as Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council notes, January represents a seasonal ebb in numbers.
“Biden has all those figures. He knows all the trends. He knows when the best time to come to the border,” Judd said. “And he knows that the beginning of January is absolutely the best time.”

The Daily Mail has some incredible before and after photos of the illegal immigrant camp crackdown in El Paso.
Former President Donald Trump recently slammed Biden over his immigration policies or the lack thereof.
“Our border is open because Joe Biden has ordered it to be open — and because Biden has broken the law and torn it into shreds,” Trump said in what appeared to be a campaign video.
“He has shredded our system, and he is destroying our country.”

The White House claims that Biden’s visit to the border and not running into any illegal immigrants on the trip was a mere coincidence.
“There just weren’t any at the center when he arrived. Completely coincidental,” an official claimed in a statement to CNN. “They haven’t had any today.”
That is, to put it mildly, highly unlikely. Less than a month ago, El Paso declared a state of emergency because illegal alien crossings reached historic levels:
Blanketed babies in car seats on the sidewalk. People laying in blankets and sleeping bags on the ground. Hundreds pouring into downtown El Paso at a time. In November alone, more than 53,500 illegal foreign nationals were apprehended, and an additional 24,000 who evaded capture by law enforcement in the Customs and Border Patrol sector that includes El Paso.
Magically, there were empty streets when Biden came through?
Texas Governor Greg Abbott slammed the president’s visit as “$20 billion too little and two years too late.”
