And it wasn’t pretty.

The awards extravaganza held in Los Angeles took a shot or two at Felicity Huffman, who was recently sentenced for her role in the college admissions scandal that shocked the nation.

The actress was not in attendance — but it didn’t seem to matter.

Comedian Thomas Lennon, a commentator for the evening’s Fox broadcast, joked during Sunday night’s show, “The producers have asked me to give a special shout-out to any of our previous lead actress winners who are watching tonight from prison. Hopefully, those two weeks are gonna right fly by.”

Here’s how The Hollywood Reporter shared the story, in the tweet just below:

As Fox News noted in its piece about this, “The former Emmy winner, 56, pleaded guilty in May for conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest mail fraud. She won outstanding lead actress in a comedy series in 2005 for ‘Desperate Housewives.'”

“On September 13, she was sentenced to 14 days in prison, fined $30,000, given 250 hours of community service, and [given] one year of probation.”

“I am deeply ashamed of what I have done,” Huffman said tearfully in court ahead of her sentencing by U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani, as various outlets reported.

“I take full responsibility for my actions … I am prepared to accept whatever sentence you deem fit.”

Huffman was the first parent to be sentenced in the college admissions scam; her husband, actor William H. Macy, was present with her in court recently.

She paid $15,000 to rig her daughter’s SAT scores, essentially getting her into college on false pretenses.

Huffman will be self-reporting to serve out her prison term on October 25.
