Ted Cruz Challenges ‘Hellboy’ Actor Ron Perlman To Fight Rep. Jim Jordan: He Wants Cruz Instead

I don't know about you, but I'd pay good money to see Jordan show Perlman who's boss on the wrestling mat.

Cruz Perlman

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and “Hellboy” actor Ron Perlman have been going back and forth today in a Twitter spat that has seen them challenge one another to various types of wrestling matches.

It all started on Sunday night, when Perlman took to Twitter to mock Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) by posting a photo of Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) along with the caption, “It weren’t for him you’d be the ugliest politician walking.”

Cruz then jumped in to defend his friend by challenging Perlman to wrestle him, but the actor fired back by saying he’d rather fight the Texas senator instead.

Since Jordan was an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State between 1986 and 1994, Cruz does not think Perlman would be able to win a wrestling match against him.

“Listen Hellboy. You talk good game when you’ve got Hollywood makeup & stuntmen. But I’ll bet $10k—to the nonpolitical charity of your choice—that you couldn’t last 5 min in the wrestling ring w/ @Jim_Jordan w/o getting pinned,” Cruz replied. “You up for it? Or does your publicist say too risky?”

This apparently unsettled Perlman.

“Wait, is this THEE Ted Cruz? Holy s–t man! Is this the same guy let little Donnie call his wife A dog and his father an assassin and now kisses his a**? Yo, can I get your autograph man?” he tweeted.

Perlman went on to add, “I tell you what teddy boy, since mentioning jim jordan and wrestling is…problematic, why don’t we say f–k him and just make it you & me. I’ll give 50k to Black Lives Matter and you can keep all the tax payer money you were thinking of spending.”

Cruz, however, was not having any of it.

“I get it, you’re rich. But, apparently, soft. You sure seem scared to wrestle Jordan (whom you keep insulting),” Cruz continued. “Can’t take the heat? Need to get a manicure?”

Perlman is just another Hollywood liberal who regularly has meltdowns against conservatives on social media. Last year, he went so far as to compare various GOP lawmakers to the Ku Klux Klan.

“Hey Kevin McCarthy! Ted Cruz! Steve Scalise! How dare you suddenly start condemning the Nazi that is Steve King when you’ve been cheering him on for his entire embarrassing career!” he wrote. “You are the KKK party. Own it muthaf—as! And one more thing…F— YOU!”

What a class act! I don’t know about you, but I’d pay good money to see Jordan show Perlman who’s boss on the wrestling mat.
