Ted Cruz Blasts Anarchists, AOC: Claims Biden Is Terrified Of Them

Senator Ted Cruz blasted anarchists tearing down statues, adding later that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the mob are the exact same extremist base Joe Biden is petrified of upsetting.

Cruz (R-TX) was responding to Kimberly Strassel, a Wall Street Journal columnist who reported that Biden, when pressed on the topic of monuments suggested the decision should rest with local governments, but that he “won’t condemn people lawlessly tearing them down.”

The Republican congressman replied that Biden’s lack of condemnation is no surprise.

“Dems support the riots. The vandals. The anarchists,” he wrote on Twitter. “That’s their base. And they’re terrified to offend them.”

AOC Chimes In

Ocasio-Cortez weighed in on Cruz’ tweet and inadvertently proved a couple of points.

“Yes, that is precisely why the party nominated … Joe Biden,” she replied with just a hint of snark.

In doing so, the New York socialist accidentally proved – as someone who professed to be holding her nose to support Biden – that she herself supports these anarchists.

At the same time, one can easily note that Biden has attempted to placate AOC by having her work with his campaign to promote her radical $93 trillion “Green New Deal.”

So yes, the Democrat base does consist of anarchists and socialists like AOC and yes, Biden is afraid to upset them.

Cruz Challenges AOC

Not missing a beat, Cruz replied to Ocasio-Cortez with a challenge to answer, on public record, a handful of questions about these radical mobs and her support for them.

“You’re the base he’s terrified of,” Cruz replied.

Ocasio-Cortez, not one to normally shy away from controversy on Twitter, has yet to reply to Senator Cruz.

When she does, it will without a doubt be a response that dances around the direct ‘yes or no’ questions.

That said, we don’t need to hear from AOC to know the answers to Ted’s questions. We have a history of support for willful lack of condemnation for Antifa domestic terrorists.

Last year, Willem Van Spronsen, a self-identified (according to his manifesto) member of the left-wing Antifa movement, was shot and killed when he stormed an ICE center in Tacoma, Washington.

Van Spronsen, who was armed with flares and a rifle, attempted to ignite a propane tank and burn the center down. He had published a manifesto prior to the attack echoing Ocasio-Cortez and her incendiary “concentration camps” rhetoric.

She refused to condemn the attack!

AOC also shared a fundraising plea for Antifa activists accused of assaulting police officers at a “Straight Pride” parade held in Boston, Massachusetts, this past September.

Those are the people Biden is afraid of. And those are the people who will be voting for him in November.
