ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos isn’t having a great week. His lack of journalistic integrity was highlighted when it was exposed that he donated $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation yet failed to disclose this information when he was reporting on the Foundation’s woes.
There have been calls for his resignation. To add insult to his injuries some posters were put up in Manhattan close to ABC News’ Good Morning America studio. The posters have pictures of Stephanopoulos with Hillary Clinton and contain the words “Pay Pal” and “Donate.”
Stephanopoulos, of course, worked for Bill Clinton’s Presidential campaign and also the Clinton Administration. His objectivity as a journalist had previously been a concern since he covers Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign. Many have called for the Clinton loyalist to be removed from reporting on the 2016 Presidential campaign or fired as he failed to disclose his involvement with the Clinton Foundation prior to reporting on its many scandals and interrogating “Clinton Cash” author Peter Schweizer.
