Stormy Daniels’s Mother: “I Would Vote for Trump Every Time”

If you’ve seen CNN lately, it’s been impossible to miss the wall-to-wall coverage of Stormy Daniels, the adult film actress who alleges she had an affair with Donald Trump in 2006.

Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, publicly declared that he used his own funds to pay Daniels the sum total of $130,000 in October 2016, ten days before the presidential election, to maintain discretion regarding an alleged sexual and romantic affair with Trump. It would be foolish to classify that $130,000 payment as an admission of guilt, as it would simply be cheaper to pay than suffer damage from false allegations.

Ms. Daniels must think there’s more than $130,000 to be made from her story (and she’s probably right), and filed a lawsuit against Trump on March 6th claiming that the non-disclosure agreement she signed and was paid for isn’t valid.

Amusingly, among those speaking out in support of Trump during this scandal includes Ms. Daniels’s own mother.

According to the Washington Examiner,

“If Mr. Trump runs four more times, I would vote for him every time,” Sheila Gregory, the mother of Stormy Daniels told the Dallas Morning News. “I like him. I like the way he handles things. It’s time this country is put back where it belongs — taking care of the people here instead of the people who don’t belong here.”

Gregory disapproves of her daughter’s career in porn, but said she still attempts to call her every few weeks, the Dallas Morning News reported. The mother and daughter, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, have been estranged for 12 years. Gregory said her daughter was affected by her parents divorce, when she was just 3 or 4 years old, and her dad Bill Gregory, 68, admits he didn’t have much to do with her when she was growing up.

“I loved her dearly,” her mother said. “I still love her dearly.”

Daniels’s lawyer called Gregory’s alleged attempts to contact her daughter “fake news.”
