Marco Rubio Just Made A HUGE Announcement About The 2016 Election

Marco Rubio

You may recall the way Donald Trump and Sen. Marco Rubio battled it out in the GOP Presidential primary. Whether it was “Little Marco” or little hands, these candidates sure seemed to have it out for each other. But now, despite all that bad blood, Rubio says he will back Trump if he is the nominee because Hillary Clinton would be too much of a disaster.

“I’ve always said I’m going to support the Republican nominee, and that’s especially true now that it’s apparent that Hillary Clinton is going to be the Democratic candidate,” Rubio said.

“My differences with Donald Trump are well documented, and obviously we had 12 months to talk about those,” Rubio said. “I’m not saying he’s going to be the nominee. We don’t know that yet … but Hillary Clinton would be a disaster for America. She really would. I think she’s got a lot of ethical questions surrounding her campaign. I think she was not a very good secretary of state, and, quite frankly, she’s a candidate that looks backwards. America needs to turn the page and move towards the future.”

For his part, Trump said he’d “love to have [Marco] involved” in his hypothetical presidential cabinet.

There has been speculation that Rubio might endorse Sen. Ted Cruz to help him get the nomination, but Rubio has stopped short of going full throttle for Cruz.

Those in the #NeverTrump movement will surely be disappointed in this news from Marco, as some have even pledged to vote for Hillary if Trump is the nominee. The clock is ticking until the RNC in July, and only time will tell who the actual nominee will be, and if conservatives will support him in November.

What do you think? Are you surprised by Rubio’s announcement that he will back Trump if he is the GOP nominee? Who do you think will win the nomination in the end?
