Conservative Presidential candidate Donald Trump is leading every poll by historic percentages. He is blunt, to the point, and speaks the truth. In a world run by slick, focus-group tested politicians, Trump is a breath of fresh air. He speaks like someone you might go to the bar with, but he’s also a successful billionaire businessman. After two terms of Obama, Trump may be exactly who America needs in the White House.
But what Trump just did is shocking America. While every Presidential candidate cautiously handles the issues of personal finances, Trump is proud of what he has earned through hard work and negotiations. I’ve always seen Presidential candidates be worried about sharing details of their taxes to the public, and many go out of their way to pay extra taxes in hopes of avoiding liberal media scrutiny. Candidates in the past have treated the paying of taxes as a badge of honor, as if it’s patriotic to send money to Washington, D.C.
But not Trump! In a recent interview on CBS Face the Nation, Donald Trump admitted he pays as little taxes as possible, just like you and I try to do. America’s tax rates are too high, and too much of our income goes to paying for government. Taxes have increased during the era of Obama, which is why smart businessmen must do everything possible to avoid taxes.
After all, money is more productive in the hands of entrepreneurs like Trump than in the hands of socialists like Barack Obama!

Presidential candidate Donald Trump said Sunday that he pays as little in taxes as possible just like every other taxpayer in America.
“I fight like hell to pay as little as possible for two reasons. Number one, I’m a businessman. And that’s the way you’re supposed to do it,” Trump said in an interview with CBS’ Face the Nation. “The other reason is that I hate the way our government spends our taxes. I hate the way they waste our money. Trillions and trillions of dollars of waste and abuse. And I hate it.”
Then he turned the tables on the reporter and blasts CBS on the issue they should be focused on: Hillary Clinton’s criminal email usage:
Trump has not yet released his tax returns, but said he has “no major problem” with doing it. And he said he may tie a release of his tax returns to a release of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton’s emails from her time as secretary of state.

Trump's admission that he does as much as possible to pay as little taxes as possible is great. But if you think he does anything to help anyone but himself, you haven't been paying attention. Trump thinks he'll be King, not President. If he is elected, God help us all.
Bob and others who say Trump helps no one but himself--Apparently you haven't read the things I've read, from people he's helped, such as the retired couple whose mortgage he paid off as a thanks for helping him when he was stranded on the side of the road. This makes no sense - he just tried to play the interviewer. Sure, he said, I'll release my tax returns, not when Hillary releases hers, but when she releases all of her emails - But he hasn't actually released his tax returns, has he? She has already released lots of her tax returns, why won't he release his? His answer was a dodge. He doesn't want to release his, not really.
If she actually does release those emails, he should be made to release all of *his* emails, unedited, that will show how he does business. Don't count on him doing that, because it will reveal what an jerk he really is and how much he has screwed people over the years.
