Sen. Blackburn: Democrat Spending Bill ‘The Biden Build Back Broke Agenda’

On Sunday, Senator Marsha Blackburn said that President Joe Biden’s $3.5 trillion infrastructure bill is a “build back broke” agenda the purpose of which is to “institutionalize socialism.”
The Republican made her remarks during an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Sen. Blackburn coins ‘build back broke agenda’, says Democrats ‘want Government control of your kids’
Blackburn said, “We know that the Build Back Better agenda has become the Biden build back broke agenda.”
The Senator from Tennessee added that “the American people have figured out that what they’re trying to do is institutionalize socialism.”
Blackburn said Democrats’ long-term plan is to “come with the socialist program to run your life from cradle to grave, daylight to dark.”
President Biden has claimed that this $3.5 trillion spending bill will cost “zero dollars” thanks to coming tax hikes and offsets contained in the legislation.
Republicans have warned that much of this legislation is unaffordable and might alter the country financially in a negative way, particularly regarding America’s debt and annual deficit.
Blackburn further accused Democrats of wanting “a takeover of the country in one vote. They want government control of your kids.” during the Fox News segment.

The Tennessee Senator also noted the Democratic legislation would allow the federal government to examine every Americans’ bank accounts for “every transaction over $600.”
Blackburn said the government wants to “be a part” of any Venmo, PayPal or other online transactions.
“They want government control of health care, they want to demoralize the military, close the churches, destroy your faith in the American system,” Blackburn said.
Republicans have been outspoken about the size and cost of this bill. Democrat spending is a hot button topic as the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill looms.
As is stands, some progressive Democrats are threatening to veto the legislation if it doesn’t include certain left-wing priorities.
