House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) is out of the intensive care unit at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, and is in fair condition.
The Congressman, a victim of a left-wing terrorist attack earlier this month, remains hospitalized and has a long road of recovery lying ahead of him.
But he seems to be improving on a consistent basis.

Via Townhall:
Rep. Steve Scalise, who was critically injured after being shot in the hip during a congressional baseball practice last week, was transferred out of the intensive care unit at MedStar Washington Hospital Friday, FoxNews.com reports.
Scalise’s condition was been upgraded from “serious” to “fair” Wednesday.
“Congressman Steve Scalise continues to make good progress,” MedStar said in a statement earlier this week. “He is now listed in fair condition and is beginning an extended period of healing and rehabilitation.”
That is the ultimate piece of good news, aside from his finally being released from the hospital altogether, for Scalise and his family.
His kids however, got a little bit of icing on the cake when they received a personal White House tour from none other than President Trump.

Trump honored Scalise and his family at the annual White House picnic on Thursday, then brought the kids on a “beautiful tour.”
“They got the A tour,” Trump joked. “Sometimes we give the B, the C, the D and the F tours, just like, here it is, let’s get out of here. We gave them the A tour.”
The President personally paid Scalise a visit in the hospital just hours after the attack, urging supporters to pray for his colleague.
Just left hospital. Rep. Steve Scalise, one of the truly great people, is in very tough shape – but he is a real fighter. Pray for Steve!

The prayers seem to be working, and Trump has done his best to comfort a family who has suffered enough.
Spread the good news to your friends and family!
