Former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders slammed Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over criticism of Ivanka Trump’s role at the G-20 summit in Osaka, Japan.
Video emerged over the weekend of the President’s daughter speaking with various world leaders at the summit.
Jealousy reared it’s ugly head when the New York Representative responded to Ivanka’s presence at the gathering with wild insults about the latter’s qualifications.
“It may be shocking to some, but being someone’s daughter actually isn’t a career qualification,” the bartender turned Congresswoman wrote.
“It hurts our diplomatic standing when the President phones it in & the world moves on,” AOC added. “The US needs our President working the G20. Bringing a qualified diplomat couldn’t hurt either.”
Sanders, who just served her last day in the administration on Friday, fired back at Ocasio-Cortez by explaining what ‘phoning it in’ truly means while blasting the freshman congresswoman’s record of killing jobs in New York.
“Phoning it in @AOC is wasting your time on Twitter while destroying jobs in NY,” she said, referencing the Democrat’s efforts that squashed an Amazon project that would have created 25,000+ jobs in the Empire State.
“[President Trump] and [Ivanka] actually created millions of new jobs and continue to make the US stronger on the global stage,” Sanders added, “but thank you for reminding Americans every day why they elected Trump.”
Granted, one could argue that the President spends a solid amount of time on Twitter, but there is no arguing with his job creation success.
It’s so nice to see intelligent women like Sarah and Ivanka swat away the intellectually challenged AOC. And they do it rather frequently.
Sanders previously mocked Ocasio-Cortez for her delusional prediction that the world will end in 12 years if we don’t bow to the left’s global warming demands.
Meanwhile, Ms. Trump has hammered the socialist darling’s ‘Green New Deal’ and it’s promise to provide jobs even for those ‘unwilling to work.’
“I don’t think most Americans, in their heart, want to be given something,” Trump said. “I’ve spent a lot of time traveling around this country over the last 4 years. People want to work for what they get.”
Ocasio-Cortez, in a battle of wits with anyone let alone these two, is bringing a knife to a gunfight.
