Comey Slams Republicans and President Trump, Sarah Sanders Unleashes

James Comey attacked Republicans and President Trump after testifying before Congress, and White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders responded by labeling him a “shameless fraud.”

Comey has been hauled in front of Congress to discuss many topics, including his controversial handling of the Hillary Clinton private email server investigation and the subsequent Russian collusion probe.

He clearly doesn’t like the fact that the American people seek to know what happened during his tumultuous tenure as director of the FBI. As such, he launched a verbal assault on the entire Republican Party, the President, and even managed to squeeze in a shot at Fox News.

The frustration in his voice is palpable, though present only because the disgraced former head of the Bureau doesn’t recognize his own culpability in tarnishing the reputation of the FBI.

“At some point, someone has to stand up and in the face of fear of Fox News, fear of their base, fear of mean tweets, stand up for the values of this country and … stand up and speak the truth,” Comey suggested, adding that the Republicans would have to “explain to their grandchildren what they did today.”

Ever the drama queen.

Sanders Stands Up And Hammers Comey Like a Clinton Blackberry

Careful what you wish for, Mr. Comey …

Sanders took his advice and stood up and told the truth, ticking off a list of reasons for which Comey is being questioned or should be investigated, before stating “the President did the country a service by firing him and exposing him for the shameless fraud he is.”

Check, and mate.

Comey likes to speak as if the entire FBI is the source of scorn from President Trump. It’s not.

The President has long held high regard for law enforcement at every level. What he takes issue with is people like Comey, or fired deputy director Andrew McCabe, or agent Peter Strzok and his lover, lawyer Lisa Page who, combined, did their best to weaponize the FBI in an attempt to bring down the President.

That is the kind of slime the Republicans are standing up against.

Textbook Comey

America has rarely seen a top law enforcement official so thoroughly obsessed with his own press and desire for attention from the liberal media, as they have in Comey these past few years.

Republicans have to “explain to their grandchildren what they did?” By questioning you’re lying, leaking ways?

South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy recently explained Comey’s narcissism to the American people. He “thinks he’s always right,” Gowdy said, adding that he’s “an amnesiac with incredible hubris.”

You see, while he demonizes congressmen for daring to ask him questions, he conveniently forgets what the truth is, claiming ‘I don’t know’ or ‘I don’t remember’ in response to dozens of questions throughout his previous testimony.

“(Comey) has been so overtly partisan since he left, not just (with) the president,” Gowdy explained, “but he wants people to vote Democrat, he wants a Democrat House. He’s just become a political flunky.”

Sanders doesn’t have time for political flunkies. Perhaps next time Comey would do well to keep his mouth shut before she takes another run at him.
