Ronald Reagan Always Explained the Right to Life Best

As Americans , it’s time we all listen to and remember President (then-Governor) Ronald Reagan’s response in 1975 to a student asking “if abortion wasn’t preferable to making a young, unmarried girl have a baby she didn’t want and which would therefore grow up to be unloved and probably turn out to be a criminal.” It’s been more than four decades and yet the arguments from those who support abortion are still the same.

In recent years, hundreds of thousands of pro-life Americans have descended on Washington, D.C. for the annual March for Life.

Since Roe v. Wade made abortion legal throughout the country in 1973, we’ve lost tens of MILLIONS of lives to the heinous act.

President Reagan had the perfect response… and it should be remembered always:

Of course, Democrats would say that a girl shouldn’t be “punished with a baby,” but Reagan shared about adoption and the love that millions of families who are waiting to adopt can provide. Reagan himself adopted his son Michael, so he not only talked the talk, he walked the walk.
