US Military Rhetoric Reveals Everything You Need To Know About Trump’s Deadly Promise [VIDEO]

The U.S. forces in South Korea, along with other parts of the U.S. military, are “ready to ‘fight tonight‘” as North Korea raises tensions.

President Donald Trump issued a strong warning to North Korea at the United Nations General Assembly Tuesday. He stressed that “Rocket Man” Kim Jong Un is on a “suicide mission.”

“The United States is a nation of great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea,” Trump said. “The United States is ready willing and able, but hopefully this will not be necessary.”

“We’re ready to fight tonight,” General Robin Rand, commander of the Air Force’s Global Strike Command, explained at an Air Force conference this week. “We don’t have to spin up, we’re ready.”

“Our role is to be a continuous bomber presence and have the ability to launch bombers from a long way away in a very short period of time,” Rand added.

The Air Force’s Global Strike Command has a motto of its own: “Deter … Assure … Strike!” This division of the military is responsible for a significant portion of America’s nuclear arsenal.

The U.S. military has demonstrated this capability through frequent B-1B bomber flights over the Korean Peninsula and joint bombing drills with South Korea in response to North Korean provocations, from shooting missiles over Japan to testing a suspected thermonuclear weapon.

U.S. Forces Korea has also conducted joint missile exercises with South Korea in response to North Korea’s test of an intercontinental ballistic missile.

The U.S. military has numerous strategic military assets scattered about the Pacific theater of operations, including conventional and nuclear-capable bombers in Guam, stealth fighters in Japan, a significant naval presence, and around 75,000 troops.

The U.S. wants its adversaries “to deal with Sec. Tillerson and the State Department,” Secretary of Defense James Mattis said Wednesday, adding: “They don’t want to deal in combat with the U.S. Dept of Defense.”
