Robert De Niro Slams Trump as a ‘Flat-Out Blatant Racist’

Looks like legendary actor Robert De Niro is back to acting like a complete fool once again.

The “Raging Bull” star seriously tarnished his reputation in the eyes of President Trump’s supporters when he released a campaign video prior to the election in which he said:

“He’s a punk, he’s a dog, he’s a pig, he’s a con, a bullshit artist…he talks about how he’d like to punch people in the face. Well, I’d like to punch him in the face.”

When Hillary Clinton lost, De Niro compared the election of Trump to the terrorist attacks on 9/11 that killed over 3,000 Americans.

Shortly thereafter, he seemed to change his tune a bit, saying he was “waiting and hoping” to see if the President “will lead the country in a way that’ll benefit everyone and benefit our neighbors around the world.”

It didn’t take long for De Niro’s true colors to come back.

In an interview with “Deadline,” De Niro claimed Trump is “a flat-out, blatant racist” who is “going to sink himself.”

Robert De Niro says President Donald Trump is a racist whose days in the White House are numbered.
In an interview with Deadline, the veteran actor says if the president “was smart, he’d be even more dangerous.”

“He’s dangerous as it is,” De Niro added. “He’s terrible, and a flat-out blatant racist and doubling down on that, and it’s good that he does because he’s going to sink himself.”

The Godfather star, who supported Hillary Clinton’s presidential cadidacy, has been harshly critical of Trump since before November.

“We’re at a crisis in this country with this fool, who never should have gotten into the position that he’s in,” De Niro added.

Bitter much?

The actor also wants to see this year’s Emmy Awards show on September 17th turned into an anti-Trump theme. How exactly that would differ from any other awards show is unclear.
