Actor Richard Anderson, whose iconic roles in “The Six Million Dollar Man” and in the show “Bionic Woman,” has died at the age of 91.
A family spokesperson confirmed Anderson died of natural causes. He passed away at his home in Beverly Hills.
Anderson had a very long career as an action star in both television and film. Besides his role in “The Six Million Dollar Man,” Anderson was also known for playing the same character in multiple shows. Here’s more information from Variety:
Anderson first portrayed Goldman, who would ultimately be the boss of both Lee Majors’ Steve Austin and Lindsay Wagner’s Jaime Sommers, in the 1973 TV movies “The Six Million Dollar Man: Wine, Women and War” and “The Six Million Dollar Man: The Solid Gold Kidnapping” before the series began in 1974. “The Bionic Woman” premiered two years later, and the two shows ran concurrently for two years, with Anderson appearing on both. Later he appeared in the reunion movies “The Return of the Six-Million-Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman” (1987), “Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman” (1989), and “Bionic Ever After?” (1994).
In addition to his more well-known roles, Anderson also played a character in Law & Order and the classic sci-fi movie “Forbidden Planet.” Overall, he accumulated 188 acting roles during his career according to IMDb.

Anderson is survived by his three daughters: Ashley, Brooke, and Deva. His funeral service will be private.
