The Truth About Slavery and Civil Rights that Democrats Want to Hide

It’s amazing how liberals will champion certain values when campaigning – equality, tolerance, etc. – then completely betray themselves with their actions.

Take the Women’s March as an example, which was organized and led largely in part by Linda Sarsour, a Sharia-law supporting left-wing activist. Why would hundreds of thousands of women nationwide rally behind a woman who supports a legal system that would take away all the rights they’ve taken for granted? They’re either clueless, or Sarsour’s rhetoric about women’s rights being under threat due to Donald Trump are more convincing to them than the reality of what happens in every country with Sharia law.

Or take issues of racial justice as an example, which the Democrat Party has tried to champion by backing movements like Black Lives Matter and others that fight “systemic” racism and police brutality. It’s bizarre seeing them try to rebrand themselves as the party of civil rights, when historically they’ve been anything but:

Here’s a couple zingers to mull over:

H/T: The Federalist Papers

As Kevin Williamson noted in the National Review:

There is no radical break in the Republicans’ civil-rights history: From abolition to Reconstruction to the anti-lynching laws, from the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Amendments to the Civil Rights Act of 1875 to the Civil Rights Acts of 1957, 1960, and 1964, there exists a line that is by no means perfectly straight or unwavering but that nonetheless connects the politics of Lincoln with those of Dwight D. Eisenhower. And from slavery and secession to remorseless opposition to everything from Reconstruction to the anti-lynching laws, the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Amendments, the Civil Rights Act of 1875, and the Civil Rights Acts of 1957 and 1960, there exists a similarly identifiable line connecting John Calhoun and Lyndon Baines Johnson. Supporting civil-rights reform was not a radical turnaround for congressional Republicans in 1964, but it was a radical turnaround for Johnson and the Democrats.

How many on the Left do you think are aware of these facts? And how is that even possible?

Take a couple guesses.

Then send this to your friends and family to help spread the truth!
