Ex-Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly claims he had to console Donald Trump after a crowd attending their ‘History Tour’ event booed the former President upon revealing he received the COVID booster shot.
Trump appeared with O’Reilly on the final leg of the tour in Dallas, Texas on Sunday.
“Both the president and I are vaxxed,” O’Reilly opened up during a discussion segment with the audience. “Did you get the booster?”
“Yes,” Trump replied.
Members of the audience began yelling at that moment, prompting Trump, whose administration helped in the manufacturing of the three COVID vaccines through Operation Warp Speed, to scold those voicing their opinion.
“Don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t … no, no, no,” Trump responded, pointing a finger and waving his hand at the crowd, dismissing the hecklers as “a very tiny group.”
“You’re playing right into their hands when you’re sort of like ‘oh the vaccine,'” he insisted.

Trump Booed For Getting Booster
O’Reilly, in an interview with Dan Abrams on NewsNation, claimed Trump was so dismayed by the crowd’s reaction that he called to discuss it after the show.
“I said ‘This is good for you, this is good that people see another side of you, not a political side, you told the truth, you believe in the vax, your administration did it, and you should take credit for it,'” the former Fox star relayed.
“Because it did save, I don’t know, hundreds of thousands of lives.”
Former Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly will join “Dan Abrams Live” tonight to discuss the boos and reaction that he and former President Trump received when the pair announced on Sunday they each had received the COVID-19 vaccine and booster.

O’Reilly added an element that may have explained Trump’s reaction – the political side to being the man who helped to successfully deliver vaccines to the American people.
“I’m trying to tell President Trump, run on your record,” he said. “He’s going to run again, all right.”

Still, the interaction between Trump and the crowd is a peculiar development. It is a clear indication that running on the vaccine may not be a good bet if he does decide to enter the 2024 presidential race.
Voters are tired of having vaccine mandates thrust upon them, calls for three shots, then four shots, and warnings of a “winter of death.”
No matter who is delivering the message.

From the Trump perspective – if ever there were a poster President for natural immunity, something those on the right seem to acknowledge while their liberal counterparts dismiss, it’d be Trump.
This past September, Trump indicated he would likely not receive the booster shot.
“I don’t think so – I really feel I’m in pretty good shape with respect to that. But let’s see what happens,” he said at the time.
He almost immediately backtracked adding, “If I feel it’s good, if I feel it’s necessary, I would get it.”

Trump handed President Biden three vaccines, a distribution plan, and an array of therapeutics, but Biden has still failed to live up to his promise to “shut down” the virus.
During the campaign, Biden claimed Trump was responsible for coronavirus deaths, calling it “utterly disqualifying.”
“Anyone who’s responsible for that many deaths should not remain as president of the United States of America,” he said.
Now, there have tragically been more deaths this year during Biden’s short time in office, and he just smiles and walks away when asked about it.

Coming to Trump’s defense over the booster shot was the ever-polarizing Dr. Anthony Fauci – which also is unlikely to be looked upon favorably by Trump’s supporters.

“From a public health standpoint, I’m very pleased that he did say that and come out publicly and say that he has been vaccinated and boosted,” Fauci said.
I have never seen so many deplorables respond so negatively to Trump as I have seen both publicly and privately over the last 48 hours. Between his comments about not firing Fauci and the vaccines, he has angered a portion of loyal base.

“But to get booed for saying that just tells you about the extraordinary divisiveness we have going into this public health issue, which should be devoid of divisiveness,” he added.
