Report: Investigation of Trump Server Revealed ‘No Evidence’ of Russian Collusion

Despite Democrat obsession over a conspiracy theory that President Trump is a “Russian puppet,” a new report indicates that there is “no evidence” of any collusion between the two parties.

Sara Carter, a reporter for Circa, relates that the FBI investigated a computer tied to Trump’s business but found no evidence that could possibly lead to criminal charges against anyone.

Carter appeared with Sean Hannity earlier this week to explain her findings on the investigation.

The months-long FBI counterintelligence investigation into Russian efforts to influence the 2016 presidential campaign briefly investigated a computer server tied to Donald Trump’s businesses near the end of the election but has not gathered evidence of election tampering to date that would warrant criminal charges against any of the president’s associates, Circa has learned.

U.S. officials, who spoke only on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the information, said there is widespread frustration among intelligence professionals who have watched in horror as a normally secretive process has been distorted by media leaks and politicians uneducated about how counterintelligence operations actually work.

As The Political Insider previously reported, in October, a FISA request was submitted by the administration and granted according to Heat Street “after evidence was presented of a server, possibly related to the Trump campaign, and its alleged links to two banks; [sic] SVB Bank and Russia’s Alfa Bank.”

No evidence was ultimately found, but the Justice Department pursued it as a national security investigation. Thus, the wiretapping of Trump associates continued, according to these reports.

A significant takeaway from Carter’s report is that there were actually two separate investigations into Trump and his associates being conducted! Only one of those investigations was subject to the FISA warrant. Both came up empty.

Hannity said it’s time for the Obama administration and intelligence officials to come clean.

“They need to assure you, the American people, that this was not spying on a political opposition party just weeks before an election,” he said.
