With Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt as his backdrop, Trump paid ode to the monument and promised to protect tributes to America’s heroes.
“This monument will never be desecrated,” Trump vowed. “These heroes will never be defaced. Their legacy will never, ever be destroyed. Their achievements will never be forgotten.”

“And Mount Rushmore will stand forever as an eternal tribute to our forefathers and our freedom,” Trump said.
Trump attacked “cancel culture” and the left’s attempts to deconstruct U.S. history.
“There is a new, far-left fascism that demands absolute allegiance,” Trump explained. “If you do not speak its language, perform its rituals, recite its mantras, and follow its commandments, then you will be censored, banished, blacklisted, persecuted, and punished.”
“Not gonna happen to us,” promised.
“They think the American people are weak and soft and submissive,” Trump said. “But no, the American people are strong and proud, and they will not allow our country and all of its values, history and culture to be taken from them.”
Trump then said bluntly, “This left-wing cultural revolution is designed to overthrow the American Revolution.”
“We will not be terrorized, we will not be demeaned, and we will not be intimidated by bad, evil people,” Trump added. “It will not happen.”
The Republican then referred to the Declaration of Independence.
“Every child of every color, born and unborn, is made in the holy image of God,” Trump said, calling the text of the Declaration of Independence “divine truth” and “immortal words.”

Trump ended his speech with a message of hope.
“From this night, and from this magnificent place, let us go forward united in our purpose and re-dedicated in our resolve,” Trump said.
He continued, “We will raise the next generation of American patriots. We write the next thrilling chapter of the American adventure.”
“And we will teach our children to know they live in a land of legends, that nothing can stop them, and that no one can hold them down,” Trump said.
“America’s destiny is in our sights. America’s heroes are embedded in our hearts. And America’s future is in our hands,” Trump finished.
