Only God knows if we’ll see another president with the wit and wisdom of Ronald Reagan in our lifetimes – but we can hope.
During his time as president, the Gipper began creating his own personal library of cards that he’d use to write down any pithy phrases, comments, or jokes that came to mind. By the time he died, he had hundreds of these note-cards, which are now archived at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California (and have even been published into a book).
For the best one-liners however, you have to hear them yourselves to truly appreciate the wit of Reagan. Watch below:
