President Trump: We Need ‘Full Investigation’ Into Epstein’s Death

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump said he wanted a “full investigation” into the death of millionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who died of apparent suicide.

Trump was asked by reporters about a retweet he shared of a joke video that linked Bill and Hillary Clinton to Epstein’s death. Trump defended his retweet and noted that Attorney General William P. Barr had opened an investigation.

“Basically what we are saying is we want a full investigation,” Trump said.

“I want a full investigation and that is what I am demanding and what our attorney general, our great attorney general is doing a full investigation.”

Full Investigation

On Monday, Barr said that he was “appalled” by Jeffrey Epstein’s apparent suicide over the weekend, and vowed to pursue the truth in this incident, warning the millionaire pedophile’s co-conspirators that they “should not rest easy.”

“This sex trafficking case was very important to the Department of Justice and to me personally,” Barr said during a speech before the National Fraternal Order of Police. “Let me assure you that this case will continue on against anyone who was complicit with Epstein. Any co-conspirators should not rest easy.”

‘Mr. Epstein’s Death Raises Serious Questions That Must Be Answered’

“Mr. Epstein’s death raises serious questions that must be answered,” Barr said. “In addition to the FBI’s investigation, I have consulted with the Inspector General who is opening an investigation into the circumstances of Mr. Epstein’s death.”

How Epstein was not on suicide watch is something many have been asking given that he reportedly attempted to take his own like just two weeks before his death.

The New York Times also reported that the prison guards who were supposed to check on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in his jail cell every 30 minutes reportedly fell asleep on the morning he killed himself.

Not to mention, there are many powerful people who had relationships with the late Epstein in the past, including not only Donald Trump but Bill Clinton, which the President had fun with in his retweet.

Which begs at least one question: If so many on the left are eager to tie Trump to Epstein, why would the President be so eager to investigate?

‘Lots of Problems’

In 2015, Trump predicted that Clinton (who has any denied any wrongdoing) has “a lot of problems coming up, in my opinion, with the famous island with Jeffrey Epstein. Lot of problems.”
