President Trump interrupted a previously scheduled event Wednesday to strongly condemn the bombing attempts directed at prominent Democrat figures and their media allies.
Explosive devices have been found either at the home or addressed to individuals such as Bill and Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Obama, Democrat Debbie Wasserman Schultz, George Soros, and Maxine Waters, as well as CNN headquarters in New York City.
While the left has been – totally without evidence of any kind – pointing the finger at him, President Trump took the high ground to condemn politically motivated domestic terrorism… Something liberals have been unable to do for years while left-wing attacks have gone underreported and under-condemned.
Trump condemns bomb scares and political violence, calls for unity
At an event in which the President was set to sign a law addressing the nation’s opioid crisis, Trump and First Lady Melania condemned the attacks.
He correctly called the incidents “abhorrent” and “despicable acts.”

“The safety of the American people is my highest and absolute priority,” President Trump said, adding that the packages “are being inspected by top explosive experts and a major federal investigation is underway.”
“In these times we have to unify, we have to come together,” he continued, adding “that acts or threats of political violence of any kind have no place in the United States of America.”
Did you hear anything vaguely comparable coming from the left when Republican lawmakers were being shot at on a baseball diamond? Or any number of other violent left-wing attacks in the last few years? When white powder was mailed to the family of the President’s sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump? When suspicious letters were sent to Senator Ted Cruz, and ricin was mailed to the Pentagon?

Trump spoke without notes or prompter
White House Correspondent Saager Enjeti adds that President Trump’s words weren’t following a script placed for him on a teleprompter either. Something his predecessor could never have imagined doing.

Trump, prior to being briefed by law enforcement officials, expressed solidarity with Vice President Mike Pence who said, “These cowardly actions are despicable and have no place in this Country.”
Pence added thanks for the Secret Service and FBI for their quick response and said: “Those responsible will be brought to justice.”

“As we speak, packages are being inspected,” the President explained. “We will spare no resources or expense in this effort.”
Hopefully, the perpetrator will quickly be identified, located, and jailed.
