On Wednesday, President Donald Trump was dismissive of the Democrats and said he wants to know the so-called “whistleblower’s” identity since that person was responsible for the impeachment inquiry.
“I want to find out who is the whistleblower, because the whistleblower gave a lot of very incorrect information, including my call with the President of Ukraine,” Trump said, adding that his conversation with President Volodymyr Zelensky was “perfect” and “highly appropriate.”
Since he was busy hosting the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for most of Wednesday, the President said he did not watch the hearings.

“I hear it’s a joke,” he said. “I haven’t watched for one minute because I’ve been with the president, which is far more important as far as I’m concerned.”
Trump seemed annoyed by Democrats’ impeachment efforts, reminding everyone that most of their information was coming from from third-hand sources.
“This is a sham and it shouldn’t be allowed,” Trump said.
Not only does President Trump deserve to be able to face his accuser by revealing the “whistleblower’s” identity, he is also correct that this entire ordeal is a fraud.

Republican Rep. Devin Nunes called Democrats out at the beginning of Wednesday’s proceedings.
Nunes said the Mueller investigation that preceded the impeachment inquiry was a “pitiful … three-year-long operation by the Democrats, the corrupt media, and partisan bureaucrats to overturn the results of the 2016 presidential election.”

“After the spectacular implosion of their Russia hoax on July 24, in which they spent years denouncing any Republican who ever shook hands with a Russian, on July 25 they turned on a dime and now claim the real malfeasance is Republicans’ dealings with Ukraine,” Nunes continued.
“Anyone familiar with the Democrat’s scorched Earth war against President Trump would not be surprised to see all the typical signs that this is a carefully orchestrated media smear campaign,” he added.
He’s completely right. Democrats will never accept that the American people elected Donald Trump as their president in 2016, and the impeachment inquiry is but their latest attempt to overturn the election.
Can they please stop calling themselves the “Democratic” party at this point?
