President Trump Celebrates Signing Of ‘Historic’ Middle East Peace Deal

President Trump celebrated what he described as a “historic day for peace in the Middle East,” as he welcomed leaders from the region to sign a peace deal between Israel and two Gulf nations.

The President announced that leaders from Israel, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Kingdom of Bahrain would be at the White House to “sign landmark deals that no one thought was possible.”

He vowed there would be “more countries to follow.”

“We’re here this afternoon to change the course of history. After decades of division and conflict we mark the dawn of a new Middle East,” Trump said in remarks at the signing event.

“Thanks to the great courage of the leaders of these three countries, we take a major stride toward a future in which people of all faiths and backgrounds live together in peace and prosperity,” he added.

Truly Incredible

Can you even begin to imagine the level of coverage and fawning the media would be doing right now had Trump’s predecessor signed such a historic peace agreement in the Middle East?

This could very well be the true ‘Arab Spring.’

Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain will establish embassies, exchange ambassadors, and begin to work together as partners.

“They are friends,” the President announced.

And it might only be the beginning.

The President said “we’re very far down the road with about five additional countries” but later suggested it could involve “five or six.”

Middle East Peace … Prize?

Prior to the agreement being announced with Bahrain, President Trump was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to deescalate worldwide conflicts.

“As it is expected other Middle Eastern countries will follow in the footsteps of the UAE, this agreement could be a game-changer that will turn the Middle East into a region of cooperation and prosperity,” wrote Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament.

Bahrain followed shortly thereafter.

Should he win the Nobel? Of that, there is no doubt.

“The committee should look at the facts and judge him on the facts – not on the way he behaves sometimes,” says Tybring-Gjedde. “The people who have received the Peace Prize in recent years have done much less than Donald Trump. For example, Barack Obama did nothing.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the peace deal is something Israelis have been dreaming about for decades, if not centuries.

“This day is a pivot of history, it heralds a new dawn of peace,” Netanyahu said. “For thousands of years the Jewish people have prayed for peace, for decades the Jewish state has prayed for peace, and this is why today we are filled with such profound gratitude.”

And it was brokered by the man Democrats wanted you to believe would start nuclear warfare across the planet when he was elected.
