President Trump Was Worried After White House Aide Hope Hicks Tested Positive

President Trump testing positive for coronavirus came hours after it was earlier confirmed that White House aide Hope Hicks had tested positive for COVID-19 earlier on Thursday.

Hicks was showing symptoms during travel for the President’s rally in Duluth, Minnesota on Wednesday.

Hicks accompanied Trump for the rally, and was with him for the debate in Cleveland, Ohio  Tuesday night.

Trump tweeted after Hicks tested positive, “Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without even taking a small break, has just tested positive for Covid-19. Terrible! The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process!”

No one is sure how Trump contracted the virus, and it is unclear exactly when he did.

President Trump’s physician released a public statement noting that the President and First Lady are “both well at this time.”
