Pompeo Confirms There Is ‘Enormous Evidence’ That Coronavirus Leaked From Infamous Wuhan, China Lab

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo revealed on Sunday that the American government has found “enormous evidence” proving coronavirus originated in a laboratory at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.

“There’s enormous evidence that that’s where this began,” Pompeo said during an interview on ABC’s “This Week.” “These are not the first times that we’ve had a world exposed to viruses as a result of failures in a Chinese lab. I can tell you that there is a significant amount of evidence that this came from that laboratory in Wuhan.”

Pompeo did not elaborate any further on what exactly this evidence is. This came days after the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a statement confirming that they were “rigorously” investigating whether the virus came from the Wuhan lab. Intelligence sources have long been saying that COVID-19 likely came from this lab, although they do believe the leak was an accident.

A Senior Intelligence Source tells me there is agreement among most of the 17 Intelligence agencies that COVID-19 originated in the Wuhan lab. The source stressed that the release is believed to be a MISTAKE, and was not intentional.

“I’ve seen what the intelligence community has said,” Pompeo said. “I have no reason to believe that they’ve got it wrong.”

President Donald Trump also announced last week that he had a high degree of confidence that coronavirus came from this lab, adding that China may have intentionally allowed it to spread.

“They either didn’t do it and they couldn’t do it from a competent standpoint, or they let it spread,” Trump said. “And I would say probably it was, it got out of control. But there’s another case that how come they stopped all the planes and all of the traffic from going into China, but they didn’t stop the planes and the traffic from coming into the United States and from coming into all over Europe?”

The American people deserve answers on how exactly coronavirus started, so we hope that more details come out in upcoming weeks. We also hope that China is somehow held accountable for unleashing this deadly pandemic upon the world.
