Peter Strzok, the agent who sent countless anti-Trump text messages to his girlfriend, lawyer Lisa Page, was escorted from the FBI building as part of a ‘disciplinary process.’
Strzok’s lawyer confirmed the incident took place, telling Fox News his client “has complied with every FBI procedure, including being escorted from the building as part of the ongoing internal proceedings.”
He did not say exactly when it occurred.
Strzok, who played key roles in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s original Russia probe as well as the Hillary Clinton email but has cast a shadow on the FBI’s investigations due to rabid anti-Trump sentiments he and Page had exchanged, is still employed by the agency. During a congressional hearing on Tuesday, Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz confirmed that his office was reviewing whether or not Strzok’s clear bias affected the launch of the Russia probe.
“That’s a matter we’ve got under review and are looking at right now,” Horowitz testified.

A key text message from Strzok that indisputably demonstrates a clear political bias was a newly revealed note which shows a pair of FBI officials discussing ‘stopping’ President Trump. (RELATED: FBI Agent Peter Strzok Sent Message Vowing to Stop Trump Presidency).
In the exchange, Page frantically discusses the possibility of Trump becoming President, while Strzok assures her it isn’t going to happen.
“(Trump’s) not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” Page wrote to Strzok.
“No. No, he’s not,” Strzok replied. “We’ll stop it.”
“Several FBI employees Who played critical roles in the investigation sent political messages,” IG report says.

Strzok: “No. No he’s not. We’ll stop it.”

Other previously disclosed text messages exchanged between the pair show Strzok and Page referring to then-candidate Trump as a “douche” and a “f***ing idiot.”
Strzok had also discussed an “insurance policy” to eliminate Trump from the presidency should he go on to win.
Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) commented on the news that Strzok had been escorted from the FBI building.
“It’s way past time for Peter Strzok to hopefully start to find a different career and restore some credibility to the FBI that most of us love and admire,” he said.
“Certainly lady justice has to be someone who wears a blindfold and with Peter Strzok it was obvious with his text messages that that was not the case.”
Given Strzok’s clear political bias, he should never be allowed to work for the FBI again, and perhaps have his pension revoked. The FBI’s blatant anti-Trump bias shows that many within the agency are part of the “deep state” that contributes to the swamp that is Washington, D.C.
