When America comes together for a specific cause, they really come together!
The makers of the game Cards Against Humanity decided to play a little game of their own… and started digging a giant hole for no reason. You are going to watch the video below and say to yourself, “What are they digging for? What is their primary purpose, and what do they expect to find?”
Well, I am not joking, they are just digging. Period. And people donated BIG bucks to keep them digging.
I’ve never seen anything like it before! Americans donated money to watch this bulldozer dig a massive hole in the ground.
From WDRB.com:
It’s as insane as it sounds, but people are already paying up to see the John Deere digger continuously scoop up dirt.
So far, the stunt has raised more than $100,000, which means it will be digging a hole for at least the next 32 hours — and that number just keeps climbing.
…
Getting people to throw their money away for nothing has become a tradition for the maker of the self-proclaimed “party game for horrible people.”
Last year, its Black Friday deal was just as unusual as the company asked people to give it $5 to receive absolutely nothing in return. The stunt brought in more than $71,145, which Cards Against Humanity split among its employees. Two years ago, the company even sold $180,000 worth of actual bull poop.
How long did you watch? Can you believe how large the entire hole became? Can you believe the amount of money people gave so they could continue?
Cards Against Humanity is an interesting company, to say the least. But what does it say about America… that people are willing to literally throw $100k into a hole in the ground, instead of doing something worthwhile, or helping those in need?
