Pelosi Questions If Trump Needs To Feel ‘Responsibility’ For Deadly Kenosha Shootings

Pelosi

While appearing on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Wednesday night, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) hit a new low when she questioned whether President Donald Trump needs to feel “responsibility” for the shooting in which a vigilante killed two people in Kenosha, Wisconsin as protests continue in the wake of the police-involved shooting of Jacob Blake.

Pelosi Discusses Riots

Pelosi kicked things off by discussing the riots in Kenosha following Blake being shot seven times by police after resisting arrest.

“Jacob Blake was shot seven times for something — well, when you saw it, it didn’t seem as if there was any justification for it,” said Pelosi. “Especially in front of his children,” she added.

Pelosi then shifted to talking about Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who has been arrested after killing two people in Kenosha on Tuesday. That’s when Pelosi stooped so low as to blame President Trump’s rhetoric for the fatal shooting.

Pelosi Questions If Trump Is To Blame For Shooting

“What is the responsibility that the president needs to feel about what encouragement, or whatever the word is, that he may have given?” questioned Pelosi. “The comfort level for someone to do such a thing and be so brazen about it?”

Trump had announced earlier in the day that he would send the National Guard into Kenosha at the request of Democratic Governor Tony Evers.

“We will NOT stand for looting, arson, violence, and lawlessness on American streets. My team just got off the phone with Governor Evers who agreed to accept federal assistance (Portland should do the same!),” Trump tweeted. “TODAY, I will be sending federal law enforcement and the National Guard to Kenosha, WI to restore LAW and ORDER!”

Pelosi Talks Biden

Later in her interview with Colbert, Pelosi denied claims that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is a Trojan horse for herself and the radical Left, before insisting that he will come out victorious in this election.

“To their peril, they underestimate Joe Biden. He’s going to be a great President of the United States,” Pelosi said. “He has a vision for our country which is very positive. Respectful of the dignity and worth of every person. He has knowledge of the issues, which is something they are also lacking — knowledge and judgment. He always thinks in a strategic way how to get things done.”

“His authenticity, his connection, his empathy for the American people is something that they probably wouldn’t even recognize, could never identify with, and are very different from Joe Biden on,” she continued, referring to the GOP and President Trump.
