House Speaker Nancy Pelosi criticized President Trump for not wearing a mask and setting a bad example, suggesting it is “a vanity thing.”
Pelosi was speaking to her allies at MSNBC when she was asked about Trump wearing goggles with no mask during a visit to the Honeywell International plant in Arizona on Tuesday.
“It’s a vanity thing, I guess, with him,” Pelosi claimed without evidence. “You’d think as the president of the United States, you would have the confidence to honor the guidance that you are giving others in the country. Yes, he should have worn a face mask.”

Why is she not wearing her mask???
Is it a vanity thing? I don’t know why she would be vain. But that must be it. pic.twitter.com/dyw2V9F6JH

Not a Good Guess
Pelosi may have been guessing, but it wasn’t a very good effort on her part.
The President has said all along that he would not be sporting a mask due to the fact that it is a recommendation, along with the look he’d like to present as leader of the free world.
He made this clear when he made the recommendation to the American people.
“I just don’t want to wear one myself. It’s a recommendation; they recommend it,” Trump told reporters last month.
“I don’t know, somehow sitting in the Oval Office behind that beautiful Resolute Desk — the great Resolute Desk — I think wearing a face mask as I greet presidents, prime ministers, dictators, kings, queens, I don’t know,” he explained. “Somehow, I don’t see it for myself. I just don’t.”
In regards to the Honeywell visit, Trump said he consulted the CEO of the company who told him it wasn’t necessary to wear the mask.

Hypocrite Nancy
Pelosi’s admonition reeks of hypocrisy.

Perhaps she was overcome with vanity during the moment, I guess.
