Orrin Hatch Just Gave Unhinged Protesters A Bit of Advice – They Didn’t Like It

Senator Orrin Hatch offered a bit of tough love to a group of unhinged protesters, dismissing their confrontation with a wave of the hand and telling them to “grow up.”

With a grand total of two words, Hatch managed to encapsulate exactly what is wrong with these far-left, all day, paid protesters. They need to grow up. And more of those on the right need to say it to them.

The testy exchange took place as the 84-year-old Hatch tried to enter an elevator on Capitol Hill. Whereas previous protesters had success by accosting the weak-kneed Jeff Flake in a similar location, the senator from Utah was having none of it.

A few of the women were clearly triggered by a dismissive wave of the hand on the Senator’s part.

“Why aren’t you brave enough to talk to us and exchange …,” one woman inquired before Hatch scoffed at her display.

Measured tones were replaced by screeching nonsense.

“Don’t you wave your hand at me, I wave my hand at you!” she replied. That’s when Hatch dropped this bomb: “When you grow up I’ll be glad to,” (talk to you).

“How dare you talk to women that way?!” a clearly flustered woman shouted. Hatch laughed and waved goodbye as his security detail tells the women to back up or risk getting arrested.

Hatch, it seems, is the real Spartacus.

Senator Lindsey Graham had a run-in with another protester who was off their rocker on Thursday, offering an equally impressive retort to her interruptions.

After the woman demanded Kavanaugh take a polygraph, Graham whipped around and fired back, “Why don’t we dunk him in water and see if he floats?”

“You’ve humiliated this guy enough,” he added, “and there seems to be no bottom for some of you.”

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell recently railed against these forms of protest, announcing from the floor:

“I want to make it clear to these people who are chasing my members around the hall here, or harassing them at the airports, or going to their homes … We will not be intimidated.”

It’s rather clear that Republicans, who spent months being chased out of restaurants or confronted at numerous public venues even before this travesty of justice against Kavanaugh, have had enough.

Georgia Senator David Perdue made a call to arms, urging his colleagues to “stop playing defense” and actually confront these liberal activists.

“It’s time we wake up, expose them, stand up, and fight for our country because that’s what’s at stake here,” following an incident in which leftists stalked he and his wife throughout Reagan National Airport, tracking him all the way to the bathroom.

It’s a breath of fresh air watching GOP congressman like Hatch, McConnell, and Graham take Perdue’s advice and go on the offensive.

These liberals need to know we’ve had enough!
