It’s been nice to not hear former President Barack Obama’s voice the past few months. But now he’s back, and just gave a speech in Chicago in front of “community organizers” about American leadership.
But during his speech, people noticed one thing strange: Obama, a former U.S. President, was not wearing an American flag lapel pin!
This is a reminder of what Obama’s true feelings are about America. And now that he’s out of the White House, he doesn’t even have to go through the motions of pretending to love America.

It’s clear that unlike former President George W. Bush, Obama has no problem attacking a current President. We’re learning more about the last-minute illegal efforts Obama was involved in with using the intelligence community to hurt Trump’s historic 2016 campaign. And now, with a new mansion in Washington, D.C…. Obama isn’t going anywhere.
Obama’s opposition to wearing flag pins dates back to 2007, when he was asked as a candidate why he refuses to wear the pin. He responded by noting, “You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin. Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we’re talking about the Iraq War, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won’t wear that pin on my chest. Instead, I’m going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testimony to my patriotism.”
But Obama spent his entire Presidency wearing one… Clearly, things have changed.
