Obama Rips Men, Says He Became ‘Woke’ to Gender Issues as President

Barack Obama, speaking at the Munich-based international startup festival, Bits & Pretzels, said he “had to get woke” on gender issues during his time as President, because men often think they know more than they do.

Obama was speaking of strength in diversity and critiquing the education system, particularly math, and technology sectors for their disproportionate focus on men.

“There are so disproportionately men that sometimes the culture within the organization doesn’t appear as welcoming,” he opined.

The former President then said that even an “enlightened” person like himself had to become “woke” on gender matters while serving in the White House.

“I have to say that even though I like to think of myself as enlightened and concerned about these issues, there have been times where I had to get woke as they say around certain issues,” explained Obama.

He then joked that men sometimes think they know more than they do, while women are quietly smarter.

“I remember in the White House in our second year, even though we had a lot of women in the administration what we would find would be that when you had a good meeting the men were doing all the talk,” he said.

“Because men somehow think that they know what they’re talking about even when they don’t.”

Obama also noted that start-up businesses in the industry aren’t inclusive and need to be more politically correct, like him.

“There are some cases I think in the start-up world where people just don’t even think about it, they are not actively trying to exclude, but they’re not … It’s not a focus,” he said. “And so those of us who are in charge of large organizations that historically have been more exclusive have to actively reach out.”

As is typical with a narcissist, he’s essentially saying ‘I’m good and have to teach the others well.’

Leading up to the 2018 midterms, the former President declared more women needed to be elected to public office because men in the ‘Me Too’ era were not capable.

“Not to generalize but women seem to have a better capacity than men do, partly because of their socialization,” the former President generalized at a showing in Paris adding, “men seem to be having some problems these days.”

He also rightly told the Hip Hop community earlier this year what it means to be a real man.

“If you are really confident about your financial situation, you’re probably not going to be wearing an 8-pound chain around your neck,” Obama noted.

“If you’re very confident about your sexuality, you don’t have to have eight women around you twerking.”
