NY Dem Crushes De Blasio For Blaming Antisemitic Attacks on Trump: Jewish Communities Love the President

Former New York Assemblyman Dov Hikind, a Democrat, tore into New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio for asserting President Trump is responsible for antisemitic attacks in his city.

Hikind, in an appearance on Fox & Friends, responded to the mayor’s comments in which he claimed the attacks were a result of “hate … emanating from Washington.”

“An atmosphere of hate has been developing in this country over the last few years,” De Blasio commented following a mass stabbing at a synagogue in Monsey, New York.

“A lot of it is emanating from Washington and it’s having an effect on all of us.”

Not true, Hikind fired back.

“First off, it’s an excuse. It’s childish. Being in elementary school or kindergarten, you’d blame someone else,” Hikind explained. “He’s the mayor of the city of New York. He is in charge.”

You want a liberal New York Democrat to take responsibility and do their job? Good luck with that.

Jewish Communities Love Trump

Hikind went on to point out that these communities in question, Jewish communities under siege in the city by antisemites, are big supporters of President Trump.

“Isn’t it fascinating that all of these communities that have been victimized by anti-Semitism, unprecedented anti-Semitism, in New York, in neighboring New Jersey now, in Monsey, all of these communities,” Hikind told Fox News. “They love the president. They are his greatest supporters.”

Hikind noted that like himself, most of them are Democrats as well.

“You’re the mayor. You’re responsible. Do your job, which you have not done up until now. Don’t look for excuses. Don’t blame the president.”

Blaming the President is reflexive at this point for the resistance party.

De Blasio’s Job

In reality, Mayor De Blasio has been integral in allowing the scourge of antisemitism and criminality, in general, to flourish in his city.

A new cashless bail reform law in New York is allowing criminals to walk free and De Blasio has bolstered that bad idea with one equally appalling – trying to entice convicts to show up for their court hearings with gift cards, movie passes, and free Mets tickets.

We’re not even kidding.

One woman was busted for two antisemitic assaults over the weekend and early this week, and in both cases was allowed to walk free the following day.

Utterly embarrassing.

Perhaps this is why a recent poll showed President Trump has a higher favorability rating in New York City than their own Mayor.
