Now We Finally Know Why Biden Is Using A Fake White House Stage

Aides to President Biden prefer he use a fake White House stage for events rather than the Oval Office because it can be equipped with an easily read permanent teleprompter.

A new report indicates aides to President Biden prefer he use a fake White House stage for events rather than the Oval Office because it can be equipped with an easily read permanent teleprompter.

The revelation comes as part of a Politico report discussing the prospects of a Biden-Trump rematch in 2024.

The outlet points out an intricate scenario in which both Biden and the former President are playing off of each other when it comes to the next presidential campaign. Both have indicated they will run but both, according to Politico, may not if the other man opts out.

Quite the interesting game theory scenario.

They note that Biden has to say he is running or risk becoming a lame duck. But they add aides believe he can “overcome intraparty concerns about his age — on Election Day 2024 he will be just shy of 82 — and shaky poll numbers.”

Reveals Why Biden Is Using a Fake White House Stage

Tucked within the report of a potential 2024 rematch is a note about President Biden and why he is prone to using a fake White House set for certain events rather than the Oval Office.

Politico discusses some Democrats who privately worry the President couldn’t handle another campaign, referencing a broken bone in his foot he suffered in 2020 “resulting in a slower and shorter gait.”

They add the necessity for him to use an “easily read” teleprompter.

“The White House has largely abandoned using the Oval Office for press events in part because it can’t be permanently equipped with a teleprompter,” explains Politico.

“Biden aides prefer the fake White House stage built in the Old Executive Office Building next door for events, sacrificing some of the power of the historic backdrop in favor of an otherwise sterile room that was outfitted with an easily read teleprompter screen.”

The teleprompter has become a crucial part of the Biden presidency, a necessary tool for a man who often struggles to string coherent thoughts together when going off-script.

Now We Know Why

The Political Insider reported in October of 2021 that President Biden was using a fake White House set for events, including his COVID vaccine shots.

The set features windows with projected images of the Rose Garden to lend authenticity.

The set is actually located in the Executive Office Building, which is used for Executive Branch staffers.

It is also used by other high-ranking administration officials for various events.

Fox News reported: “In addition to Biden, Ambassador to the U.N. Linda Thomas-Greenfield, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen have been photographed using the set alongside the president for events there.”

Did they need exorbitantly large teleprompter screens as well?

Newsweek at the time didn’t mention the need for President Biden to use a permanent teleprompter as a reason for the fake White House stage.

Instead, they noted the stage was bigger, has room for journalists, and that it had better optics. See, it’s not about Biden’s needs, it’s for the people.

Human Events Senior Editor Jack Posobiec responded to images of the fake White House stage by describing them simply as the “Truman Show Presidency,” a reference to the Jim Carrey movie in which the main character lives his entire scripted life on a massive set with actors.

The jokes practically write themselves, but the fake White House set underscores just how crucial his aides feel it is for President Biden to stick to their carefully crafted scripts.
